I consider listening to be my greatest strength and favorite aspect of acting; it informs my performance style and honestly, most of my life choices. I see storytelling as an act of service because that’s how I experience it; it inspires me, shows me different perspectives, gives voice to faraway cries, yadda yadda blah blah blah. What I want to do is see what feelings I can show people, so they’ll have a better chance at understanding themselves and those around them. That’s what the artists I love did for me, and I want to pay it forward.

Find the love. Love for yourself, for others, for your community, for your enemies. Find the love.

About lil’ ol’ me

I’m MC Carder, an actor, collector, crafter, and yes, Swifite is a notable enough trait to make the list.

I started performing because I wanted to join every club at my elementary school, and 11 years later, I’m graduating acting school as president to two clubs and treasurer to the student government. Some things never change! Growing up as an Army Brat, I became adept at making friends by playing…hard. Like, “go get a driver’s license from the play-town DMV in order to vote in the play-town election” hard. Organized play gave me a community anywhere I went, and now I’m an actor. I think it tracks!
